Hi from Irkutsk,
The initial feeling of uneasiness has slowly disappeared, and Brandi, Evan, and I are just like any other family of three, six thousand miles from home. Evan is eating well, sleeping well, and we spend the other ten or so hours a day running, laughing, and playing. As Evan gets more comfortable with us, he doesn't seem to mind throwing the occasional tantrum. We got a doosy on tape this morning, when he wasn't quite ready to come inside. He gets over them quickly though, and we're right back to kicking the ball, watching Elmo on dvd, playing on the bed, and watching cars, dogs, birds, and what ever else shows up outside our window. We're thankful to everyone for their prayers, as we know that we are being watched over. Another American couple will be here Monday to pick up their daughter, who is Evan's age. We can't wait to meet them, and they will share our apartment. Sorry to cut it short, but I'm on my way to the grocery store, and Brandi and Evan are waiting back at the apartment. We miss you all.

What a joy it was to get up this morning and get online and read your "Like we were never gone" God is so good isn't he. Im so overwhelmed with emmotions and goose bumps. I can't imagine still what you all have gone thru. Im so glad Evan is with his MaMa & PaPa now. I look forward to read all the wonderful things you and your little boy have been up too. Hey guys! I can't stop the tears! I am so happy for you! I love reading the messages....I share them with everyone. We are all praying for a safe adventure there and journey home! I can't wait to see Evan myself. Have fun!
