Quick Update

Just a quick update to say that Evan's surgery went well. He was in a lot of pain the first night and did not sleep more than about an hour at a time. He is doing better now but still is in a lot of pain from time to time, the doctor said that it could get worse in a couple of days as the scabs come off, so still pray for him. He isn't eating well today.

We had a great time in PA. When we landed we got the news about the Casolas and rushed straight to the hospital...everything has been a blur since but I hope to update about our trip soon.

Please continue to pray for the Casolas and the Kings.

Hey, girl. I have been thinking about you and your church family constantly. Prayers are consistently uplifted. I want you all to know that I am praying and have requested prayer from everyone I talk to. God's hands are on everyone of these involved. It is such a tragedy, but they are truly blessed to be here today. I know the next days and weeks are critical and I will continue to pray, pray, pray. Please keep me updated and I will be thinking of you all during this very difficult time.

Love and prayers,
Renee

Brandi,

Know we are thinking and praying for the Casola's their family and the church family. We pray for healing for all involved and for God's peace and strength.

As Evan is surely telling you as he sees your tears, God Loves You!
We're here....we love you...we're praying....

Do Not feel guilty.....you are doing what needs to be done....everyone knows you and knows your heart....if you could be everywhere at once you would be, but, you can't....but, Jesus can and He is.....He is loving you all....

Continuing to pray.......

We love you all............

Love,
Carol

Dear Brandi, Clay and Evan,

Oh how my heart aches for you all. God loves you so much he seen this coming so he left us many words (HIS LIFE) with us.

Even Jesus Himself was tempted by Satan, in chapters 4 of Matthew and Luke, and he was tempted precisely when he was praying and fasting... so, you and I are going to be tempted, even if we pray hard and well, and do great penance...
... Jesus did not fall into temptation... but He gave us a good lesson to be alert... because the Bible says:
"Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you." (1Pet.5:8-10).
Our life is a struggle against the devil:
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the air." (Eph.6:10-12).
This is why Jesus told us to pray always the Our Father saying: "lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil." (Mat.6:13).

Realize Attacks will Come
(1 Pet 4:12 KJV) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Notice what the verse says, the fiery trial will "try" you. The word "try" is the word for trial. Every time we go through a satanic attack, it is to put our faith in God through a trial. It is to check our spiritual barometer.

(1 Pet 4:1 KJV) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

At the beginning of 1 Peter 4, we see the above verse where we are told to arm ourselves with the realization that we will face suffering for the kingdom of God. That suffering comes in both physical and emotional ways. Satan cannot attack our spirit so he attacks the flesh in hopes to ignite our emotions so they will override our spiritual sobriety. If we mentally prepare ourselves that a satanic attack is imminent, we will be prepared for the onslaught and realize that Satan is just doing his job in trying to get me to disbelieve and distrust God. When we are spiritually adept at identifying a satanic attack, it can be endured with inward joy rather than despair.

We love you all,
