1. How I met you...a story of Russian Adoption by Adrienne Eblert Bashista
2. Happy Adoption Day by John McCuthceon
3. A Blessing from Above (A little Golden book) This one is great!
4. A mother for Choco by Putman. A story about a little bird looking for a Mama.
5. Mama Papa by Jean Marzollo
(not about adoption but about baby animals, I liked this one b/c it uses the word
Papa instead of Daddy)
6. Just in Case you ever Wonder by Max Lucado (Not specifically adoption but works well, a great story about God creating you to be with your parents and about heaven.

7. Our Chosen Child...How you came to us and the growing up years. (memory book)
8. The Russian Word for Snow by Janis Cooke Newman (I just started this one and I can't put it down. About a family's story through their journey.
9. Why I choose you by Gregory Lane

Evan has a tree in his room which we plan to leave up every year until after the Russian Christmas. I bought the two Christmas books with the intention of reading them to him every year as part of his Russian Christmas.

I purchased some of the books from http://www.russian-toys.com/ They have everything from Russian books to traditional Russian toys and clothing.

Borya and the Burps is another great children's book about Eastern European adoption.

1. A Little Story about a Big Turnip...it's a great book younger kids. Babushka brought this one to Evan.
