I received an email yesterday from wildblue saying that I had reached my usage threshold. I called them to see what it was all about and apparently I can only upload so much in 30 days and I've uploaded too much. If I don't stop they will shut down our service...which really irritates me. We can't get DSL in our area, only dial-up...so last year we spent over $300 to purchase a satellite from wildblue to be able to have high speed Internet and apparently it's only so good. I'm very disappointed to say the least and I feel like they take advantage of the fact that we can't get DSL. Of course, I can continue my uploads if I upgrade my monthly package to $69.95...which I'm not so for right now I'm on restriction for 30 days.
AARRUGGGHHHH!!!

They'll have really changed by the time we "see" them again!!
I'm curious about the no pictures for 30 days deal. Wildblue states in their Fair Usage Policy that they use a rolling 30 day period, so it seems to me that you should be able to upload at some capacity within say a week or so... just curious..
