My Mama
I don't get to spend nearly as much time with my Mom as I would like to but she is the best mom that I could ever ask for and I don't get to tell her that very often. My mom is the kind of woman who cares for her children no matter the cost, she's the kind of mom who is willing to work two jobs as a single mom just to make ends meet, she's the kind of mom who is gracious and forgiving, who is non-judgemental, who is always there for you when you need her, who is always willing to pray for you aloud, who knows when you need prayer even without saying so, who sets a positive example and is a good role model, who is patient and caring, who steps up in a time of need, who works hard at everything she does, who keeps her head afloat always, who serves others regardless of any hardships it may place on her, who strengthens others faith during moments of weakness, who has so many qualities that the list could go on and on.
I've needed my Mama many times in my life but the time that I needed her the most was when we were waiting for Evan. That was a year filled with heartache for us and she was always just a phone call or a short drive away. I can remember many times calling her in tears, saying, "not next month either." She always could comfort us when we received bad news, I even remember Clay one day saying, "Let's go see your Mom." I can remember sobbing as she prayed for us and it always meant so much. She's a great Mom, and I only hope that I can be the kind of Mom that she has been to me, to my three E's.

Okay, I'm in tears...
What a tribute! And I agree for the few times I've met your mom -- I can see her doing ALL these things!
I can't live up to that. You are very special to me. You are a wonderful mom. You always take time to do "little" things with your children that mean so much.
I Love You snoopy!!!!
