I don't have a ton of beach pictures since we never made it out to the beach as a family. I did manage to sneak away for about 30 minutes to see Clay and Evan play together one day. We plan on having a tent next month so we should all make it out there...plus we were only there for a couple of days. We spent most of the time around the room, but did go out to eat at The Salty Dog on night. I had the cutest picture of Elijah in his hat and accidentally deleted it. AARRGGHH!
We enjoyed the local wildlife for sure. We saw the funniest squirrel on our deck, a huge bird, and we even saw an alligator in the lagoon behind us. Evan found some great shells on the beach and even found several sand dollars and starfish. A few of the starfish that he found were still alive. He enjoyed letting them crawl in his hands. I had never seen a starfish alive before, it was very interesting.
The Fighting over toys has begun!
Sleeping with Mommy and Daddy is something that only happens in our house if someone is sick, but Baby Lije was a bit out of sorts being in a strange place without his bed so he managed to sneak into Mommy's bed for a nap. SHHHH, don't tell Ella! Evan came in and thought it was the sweetest thing.

Sweet pictures! I am sure it was nice to get away for a couple of days.
The pictures are to cute...I love the one where they are fighting over the toys. Can't believe that Evan's birthday is on Saturday. Let me know what you guys are doing for Evan's birthday party.
Love the pictures as always! I've never seen a live starfish either. Too cool! Sand dollars eh?! You may have to send one to Uncle Mark. I can see Lige wanting to sleep with Mommy more.
Miss you!!!!!!!!
As much as you don't want your kids to sleep with you, it sure is sweet when they do. Just not all the time!!!! Your pictures are so sweet!
We're the same about sleeping in our bed, but I must admit, after waiting SO long for Skip to get home, a few times a month for the first year I would carry him to our bed after he was asleep just to snuggle with him! Those days are gone - now HE will ask to fall asleep in our bed...usually we say no, unless he's sick... but he's all arms and legs now and as soon as he's asleep - he's back in his bed!
