Double Trouble

As a parent of twins, you don't really like to hear the coined phrase "Double Trouble." You don't really like to think of any of your children as, well trouble! It is a phrase that is so widely used that people don't even think twice about it, even strangers. Can you imagine, walking up to someone with a brand new baby and saying, Ahhh, Trouble!? Of course not! So why is it okay to for someone to walk up to my babies and say, Ahhh, Double Trouble!? Call me crazy, but I see a double standard here.
If I had a dollar for every time I've heard it I would be a wealthy woman (pardon the cliches). I always reply with, "Double the Blessing!"
Anyway, I really do have a point here and it's not just to get on my soap box (There I go again with the cliches).
There are certain times here and there, when the phrase, "Double Trouble" applies...but only Momma is allowed to use it (yes...double standard). Those are times like in these photos, I was only gone for about 2 minutes. How much mayhem can two 9 month old babies cause, you ask? Well, DVD's were everywhere, pacifiers were each hidden under the entertainment center, (can't figure that one out) remotes were out of the cabinet and in their hands, Elijah was missing a baby leg sock, Ella's were down, and THE TV WAS ON SNOW!! It took me forever to figure out how to get the tv to work and no it wasn't as simple as changing the station.
