The Creek

We had a really great rain last weekend. It made for a lot of fun in the creek. Amma and Ampa kept the babies and the original Hodges...family of 3 set out for some exploration fun.

We had a blast.

God's Dream

God made a world out of His dreams, of magic mountains, oceans & streams.

Praries and plains and wooded land, then paused and thought,

"I need someone to stand on top of the mountains, to conquer the sea,

explore the plains and climb the trees,

someone to start out small and grow sturdy,

strong like a tree and so.....He created Boys,

full of spirit and fun to explore and conquer,

to romp and run with dirty faces, banged up chins,

with courageous hearts and boyish grins.

When He had completed the task He'd begun,

He surely said, "That's a job well done."

Rain
When the rain comes down drip drop drip drop,

Windshield wipers flip flop flip flop,

Boots in puddles plip plop plip plop,

wish the rain would never stop.

Drip drop drip, Flip flop flip, Plip plop plip plop, PLOP!

Here are some really cool things that we found on our hike.

Beaver Dam and some old bottles. The brown one says Clorox on it.

We're not sure what the others are, the white one has a metal cap.

We had such a good time. Thank you Amma and Ampa for keeping the babies.
