The line went so much faster than we imagined. Kate was very sweet and is just beautiful...so much prettier in real life than she is on tv. It was a super quick meeting and Clay snapped a picture. We had the kids with us of course. (though Evan would never admit it, he thought it was cool to meet Kate too)
The conversation went like this...
KATE: Awe, you have twins too.
BRANDI: Oh yeah! When I was pregnant you were sort of my inspiration...I would tell myself...If Kate Gosselin can handle her load then surely I can handle Evan and twins. (This is so true)...
KATE: And look at you, handling it! And handling it very well, it looks like. You're doing a great job...remember that.
BRANDI: Thank you so much, that's sweet. (Then the workers moved me along)
Tell me WHY was that an emotional moment for me! We walked out of the store and I cried... Can you believe that?! I told Clay, not to think I was crying bc I met Kate Gosselin...I mean, come on, I not THAT big of a fan. lol It was more of a reminder of how afraid I was when when we were carrying the twins that I wouldn't be able to handle ... everything. And though their are days when I think I can't...look at us...we're handling it...just like Kate said! It was such a cool moment! Thanks Clay for taking me!! I love you!
