Evan's nightly prayers are always so special and precious to me...I never know what I'm going to hear... tonight's went something like this....
Dear God, thank you for my day. It was a great day! My day at school was fun, early release was fun, football was fun, it was a fun day, God. God, please keep everyone in the whole world safe, me and all the children, all the babies, all the older people, my family, my friends, my animals, all the animals in the entire world, even all of the stuffed animals. Keep all of the dogs in the world and the animals in the road safe. Keep everything in our house safe, keep our rugs safe, our tables safe, EVERYTHING! Keep the people in Africa safe and the kids in Russia, help everyone have peace and keep them safe. Jesus' name, Amen

Precious indeed. I do see he is still concerned with being safe though, so I hope his fears are not as prevalent as they were after the "incident". He's clearly a very caring, loving little boy!
