Our Spider...

Don't know yet what kind it is but it sure looks creepy!! This spider lives just outside of the kids' bathroom window. At night, we turn the bathroom light on which brings out the bugs and watch the spider go to work. It's amazing at how close we are to it, only a few inches and a piece of glass separates us and yet it doesn't seem to even phase the spider that we are there. It was so cool to watch the whole process play out! We would see a bug get trapped in the web, the web vibrate and giggle, the spider head in that direction as fast as can be, bite the bug and begin to wrap it up! She/he gave us a great show, we could even watch the silk coming out of the spider's body as it spun the bug into circles wrapping it up. AMAZING!!!


Evan loves it!! He's get caught out of bed several times watching it when he's supposed to be sleeping. lol
