Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land.
Proverbs 25:25
We received our invitation to travel today! We have been nervously waiting to receive our invitation to travel from the Russian government since we received the news of our court date. We were not able to book flights or apply for our visas until we received the invitation. It doesn’t look like it is going to be an easy trip. It looks like we are going to have to switch airports in New York…then we will have a layover in Italy…then to Moscow, where we switch airports again…then finally to Irkutsk. We should have our flights confirmed by tomorrow. Please begin praying for smooth transitions.

Praying Praying Praying each and everyday and several times a day. Know that ya'll are being lifted up in prayer. Ya'll have had way more hours of pregnancy and labor than any typical child birth. I know the journey will not be easy but the reward will be so very grand! Know God is with you, just as he has been every step of the way and has planned this route out for you. Think of all the lives you may touch and witness too on the way. On the way back you will see no one but Evan I am sure. God has so many people praying for ya'll. Hold fast to God and he will see you through. God has so much awesome stuff in store for ya'll. Just like any time God blesses anyone with a child all those thoughts, fears, anxiousness and more disappear when you hold that child in your arms. I can imagine what that feeling will be like when you hold Evan knowing he is yours and you are bringing him home. I am so very excited!!! What a blessing we will have in our lives. I look so forward to hearing ya'll's daily reports.
I love you!!!
