Anxious Moments

Hello from Irkutsk. As I type, it is 4:33 P.M. here. That means that most of you are fast asleep at 3:33 A.M. Talk about a big difference. Anyway, we are less than 24 hours from our court date. It is a time that we have waited for for a year now, but as it approaches, Brandi and I are experiencing some nervousness. Our facilitator is both a source of information and anxiety for us. As he prepares us for court, he gives us many of the worst case scenarios. This is scary to us, and we are praying for a positive outcome to the hearing tomorrow, as well as peace between now and then. Mark Schatte has become quite an influence on me over the past week. He is a man of extreme faith, and his guidance through the anxious moments has been greatly appreciated. Brandi and I believe that God is our strength and our shield, and we will not doubt Him at this trying time. We will put our faith in Him, and not lean on our own understanding. We appreciate everyones prayers on our behalf, and we know that we are being lifted by all of you. Please continue to pray as we go to court at 1:00 A.M. where you are, that is just after midnight Thursday night. We need all of your prayers. Thank you all.

Brandi, Clay and Evan,
Hi! It's Thurs. a.m. here and I just tried to call ya'll to tell you that I'm thinking of you! There wasn't an answer, but I'm sure you were getting that cutie into bed or maybe you were out to eat.

I will say a special prayer for you all throughout the day and especially tonight as it gets close to your court time there. God has had such a special plan for your family and now it will all come together! He will be with you as you enter that court room and we will definitely all be lifting you up here. Hope you have as relaxing a night sleep as you can...we're thinking of you all!
Love,
Kerri

We will be bombarding the throne of God to grant your requested adoption! I'm sure you know this but remember "Do not be anxious about anything, but in prayer & petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Ph 4:6.

Know that all this is part of God's plan for your lives! I'm so glad you have a strong Christian family there to help you with this all!

Love, Debbie

As you both know GOD IS SO GOOD. I know the feeling of anxiety will continue to be with yall but know this will happen. You have waited so long and have been so patient. You will be rewarded as Im sure you have already been just spending this time with Evan. Know we are all praying for you guys and know that you all will be taken care of and you will officially be a family of three on Friday. Thank you for sharing so many memories with us all.
