prayer request

I usually call Brandi in the morning and again at night. I was running late this morning and could not call before I took Wes to school. I did not call when I got home because they should have been in the bed. Brandi called me, they had been very upset. Alex had been to see them during the day to coach them on their speech for court day. They will be in court for 3 hours. The Schatte's are there with them. Their court day is next week. All of them had to appear before the judge on Monday. The Schatte's live in Pennsylvania. In their state an adoption agency must be certified annually. In Georgia that is not the case. They are certified one time only. Alex said that the judge did not understand this. Bethany should be certified annualy also. Alex tried to explain to her that each state is different. Bethany has to send the judge a letter explaining this. Bethany told Alex that they would "do their best". Well court date is tomorrow. Alex said that it is possible the judge will be OK with this; or she may postpone their court date until next week. That would give more time for the proof that she needs; or she may postpone it for a few months; or she may deny them custody of Evan. Now...Brandi and Clay have to be in court Friday at 2:00 pm which will be 1:00 am here. On my way home from taking Wes to school I listen to Dr. Charles Stanley on the radio. Today I turned him off and switched to my Babbie Mason CD. I have not listened to that in a long time. Skipped the first song, the 2nd was "Don't have to worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will work out fine". It made me think of Brandi, Clay and Evan. She said that they were so upset when Alex left. The Lord put the Schatte's there with them at this time. They are very mature Christians. They prayed with them and put on their Babbie Mason CD. They played "Don't have to worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will work out fine" !!! Now is that The Lord or what !! Brandi said that they were all dancing and singing the song in the apartment. Even Evan and their little girl were dancing. I can just see the Holy Spirit in that apartment. ( Man, I wish I were there ) Please pray that Bethany will send what the judge needs. It will be satisfactory to her. If she grants them custody tomorrow; at the end she will say " Congratulations, Ma Ma and Pa Pa. I pray they will here those words. Court time is very stressful without any additional things throw in. As I said it will last 3 hours and they have to say "the right things" or it will not be granted. Last year Brandi had to begin making a scrap book. Pictures of all family members, the house from all angles, each room in the house. I could not even guess the number of pictures that we have taken. We have taken pictures through out the year. Alex told them they did not have enough!! How many is enough? Alex said that it has been over a year since she denied custody to someone. Just pray for them to have calmness and peace in court and that they will hear "Congratulations Ma Ma and Pa Pa.
