Hi Everyone!

We just wanted to let you know that there is an article of us in today’s Covington News. We took a copy of the newspaper with us to Russia as part of the “News Travels Fast” promotion that they do. Clay dropped the picture off and the lady ended up calling him asking questions about our trip. It is a nice article.

Evan is doing great! He is has an English vocabulary of about 20 words, other than just the three mentioned in the article. Another thing mentioned in the article…it talks about us putting a snowsuit on Evan in 60 degree weather and quotes Clay saying how hot-natured he is…Yes, we did put a snowsuit on him, they article doesn’t explain that we HAD to put it on him. The Russians bundle their children up and sometimes even use snowsuits in the summer months. If you don’t bundle your child up as they would see fit, you will face a Russian Babushka (grandmother) yelling at you in the middle of the street. Once our adoption was finalized, we took our chances and took the snowsuit off on warmer days; boy did we get some looks and one yelling from a Babushka too.
