Evan continues to amaze us daily with his development. He now has an English vocabulary of about 20 words, love ya and thank you are two of my favorites. He is also learning more sign language. Before we left Russia he was signing more and all done. Now he also knows thank you, please, up, and help. Yesterday, he patted his chest for help and then pointed up as to say, Help me, up.
His allergies are getting better, he is back on antibiotics and is feeling much better. He is eating better too but still not like we want him to eat. He now enjoys fish sticks. When we went to the doctor this week he had gained a pound, which made us very happy.
He loves outside! All boy for sure! It has rained everyday this week which has really limited our outside time.
Some friends of ours from Indiana received their court date! They must be in Irkutsk on June 20th. In the mist of all of the preparation for their trip they just sold their house and have to be out before they leave. Please pray for smooth travels for the Hardman family.
Thank you all for the visits, calls, cards and gifts. It feels good to be home. We will try to post occasionally to let you know how he is doing.
