Just a Post for Me

I'm just posting this for me to remind me of what a great husband I have. I love you too!


Looking through the stuff in that old safe deposit box sent me on a trip. We had stuff in there from the first time we laid eyes on Evan, through our second trip requirements, to the passport pictures we got in Irkutsk, to our final adoption in Covington. I would look at each document, letter, or whatever, and if it was dated before April of '05, it made me sad. If it were dated after, it would make me smile. His pudgy little passport picture, with his confused look, and his fluffy, mop-top hair, made me laugh. We had a list in there on Marriot from Moscow stationary, and a receipt from the US Embassy. I just spent a few minutes reflecting on how thankful I am, and how much I love my whole family. From my beautiful wife (and best friend), to my rambunctious four year old, to my adorable twins, man I got it all. I love you.
