Tackle it Tuesday

Evan and I are declaring Tuesdays as Tackle it Tuesday.

I saw the idea online here at 5 minutes for mom.com and thought it was a good idea. The concept is that you actually tackle a project that you've been putting off for a while. Then you show your before and after pictures to inspire others to tackle it on Tuesdays...and it also works as incentive to keep it clean. I'll post our after pictures, but I'm not brave enough to post our befores yet. :-)

A couple of projects that we tackled together for Tackle it Tuesday!

Project # 1 and the most important... We hug the shelf that I've promised Evan for since baseball season last year...to put his trophies and game balls on...along with the one that his Daddy caught when we went to the Braves game and one that his Ampa caught for him. We bought it about 2 weeks ago and finally got around to hanging it today.
Project # 2 was bringing his bookshelf and books upstairs into
his new room and boy was that a job.

Project # 3...Okay Georgia Fans...Eat your heart out!!!!!
Last night Clay went to a sales dinner for the bank at Sanford Stadium...being one of the few Tech fans there, it was funny that he won this print.
There is only one print in existence. The original, signed painting hangs in
Mark Richt's home and the one and only signed print hangs in Evan's room.

Even though Evan still says, "Boo Georgia" he loves the print that "his Daddy got for him."

Evan, standing oh so proud.

I love the Tackle Tuesday idea. I have WAY to many things to pick from but I'm gonna start the same next week! Thanks for the idea. Love Evan's room - he is such a cutie!

Brandi,Clay, and kids!
Okay, I read through your blog and I love it! The pictures are great, and who says boo Dawgs??? I'm glad the picture found a place of honor in Evan's room. I bet you get a bulldog out of one of your three! We miss seeing you guys at the ballfield. I saw your Mom the other day there, but Chad moved up to 9-10, so he's not playing with Wesley again right now. Glad to hear all is well! Take care! Love, Jennifer,Ricky,Casey,& Chad Haynes

Tackle it Tuesday...Boy, Todd sure would love for me to implement that at our house! Maybe I could also implement Motivate me Mondays, Wash it Wednesdays, Trash it Thursdays and Finish it Fridays! Seriously, once again, your blog has motivated me...this time to get things done around my house! Tackle it Tuesdays here we come!! I'll let you know what my first project is! We hope that by Evan having a Georgia print in his room, he will fall in love with the Dawgs!
