April Fool's Day

When Evan got home from school yesterday, I told him that I had a yummy snack for him. Crunchy fish sticks and green peas...not exactly what he had in mind.

ACTUALLY, it was wafer cookies covered in peanut butter and rolled in crushed up cornflakes and green air heads rolled into balls.

"Hey, This doesn't smell like Peas"

Evan was so exited to be pulling a prank on his Daddy, and Clay played right along. He acted so excited to be having Strawberry Pie for Dinner...it was actually a Faux Pie! It was sort of like a Shepherd's Pie with meatloaf on the bottom and mashed potatoes on top...died pink of course to look like strawberry icing.

Both ideas came from Family Fun Magazine.

We love the Family Fun magazine! I just love how you always have something fun for the kids to do, hope I am always on top of things like you are! Evan is getting so big, seeing posts/pictures of him just makes me smile and say thank you God for bringing him to you guys!

I was tempted to do the fish stick thing, but figured I'd save it for next year. It did look great and looks like Evan enjoyed!
